Shiloh Photos

Me in my cowgirl hat with my BIG paintbrush.

Walks softly carry a big paintbrush and a big lipstick!

Here I am posing as a tree of life in front of white blossoms on the Mendocion Coast wearing my a shawl I share with my girlfriend Julie that we got in Paris long ago on a painting retreat.

Me in my studio painting on a Jesus icon. Notice the other painting behind it, of Mary, it looks like the top of the head of the Jesus painting but it isn't! Funny how His Mama shows up...

This is me and my neice Maia Magdalene painting on my painting called Milk and the Matriarch. She was spending the day with me at my studio and really wanted to paint on it, so I said sure!

Here I am with my Cousin Bridget at her school, Mountain Song. The paintings behind me on the blue wall are from a self portrait icon painting class.

At the easel. This is a few years back whend I still used to paint in the gallery at night. I would just clear a table, throw down a cloth and get to work. Now I mostly work in my private studio.

Here is Isaiah and I at one of our Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe Festivals that we celebrate every year on December 12.  The alter behind us has corn meal, chili peppers, chocolates, money, rose petals, prayers, sqash and all sorts of assorted offerings for Her!

Here is Isaiah, my beloved and I at Mama's Royal Cafe in Oakland. We go to the city to teach and attend church and so city cafes, and country cafes for that matter are a part of our spiritual practice.

Here I am playing the drum on the Mendocino Headlands on my way to work at the gallery - sound good? It is. I am so grateful for being on this gorgeous coast.

Here is Sue Hoya Sellars and myself, enjoying a brewsky after work - living it up as usual between paintings and save the world conversations.
